Cookie Policy

Last updated: 28 April 2025

This page explains how Velura uses cookies on its website, what each type of cookie does, and how you can manage your preferences. We have kept the language as plain as possible.

Section 1

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website saves to your browser when you visit. The file contains a short piece of data — usually a unique identifier or a preference setting — that the website can read on your next visit.

Cookies do not contain personal files or data from your computer. They are used by most websites to make the experience of visiting more consistent and to understand, at an aggregate level, how people are using the site.

You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Declining some cookies may limit how certain parts of the website behave.

Section 2

These cookies help us understand how visitors use the site — for example, which pages are viewed most often, where visitors come from, and how long they spend reading. The data is aggregated and does not identify individuals.

These cookies are used to deliver content relevant to your interests and to measure the effectiveness of any advertising. They may be set by third-party advertising services we use.

Preference cookies

Optional
Optional

These cookies remember choices you have made — such as display settings or language — so that the site behaves consistently on return visits.

Section 3

Third-party cookies

Some cookies on this site are set by third-party services rather than by Velura directly. These services have their own privacy policies which govern how they use the data their cookies collect. We do not control third-party cookies.

Google Analytics Analytics Aggregate site usage measurement
Google Ads Marketing Conversion tracking

Section 4

How long cookies last

Cookies are either session cookies or persistent cookies.

Analytics and marketing cookies from third-party providers typically persist for between 30 days and 2 years. The specific duration for each provider is set out in their own documentation.

Section 7

Your rights

You have the right to withdraw your consent to optional cookies at any time. You can do this using the preference controls in Section 5 above, or by clearing your cookies through your browser.

Withdrawing consent will not affect any data collected before the withdrawal. It will prevent optional cookies from being set during future visits.

If you disable analytics cookies, we will not be able to count your visit in our site usage data. If you disable marketing cookies, you may still see advertising, but it will not be linked to your browsing behaviour on this site.

For questions about how we handle personal data more broadly, please see our Privacy Policy.
